When the atmosphere is right, the food tastes much better. At the “The Winery” restaurant, located 800m from the New Bulgarian University in Ovcha Kupel, we build a bridge from the past to the present.
We focus on traditional values and combine them with today’s technological capabilities. The interior of our restaurant in Sofia was created and restored entirely by hand.
Experience true craftsmanship – even the wine coolers are created in our workshop specifically for the Winery .

What we do at the Winery, we do with passion. Our team, led by kitchen managers Valentin (father) and Teodora (daughter) Popekova, is young and full of potential and ideas. We “rethink” recipes from the past, which means we want to surprise you, dear guests, again and again in an original way.
We are hosts with heart, because we want to be, not because we have to.
